Summer Compton, the one behind the camera

Hey, I’m Summer! I’m a North Carolina-based photographer with a passion for capturing the things that move me—cars, motorsports, live music, and the people and moments in between.

What started as simply picking up a camera has grown into a career that has taken me trackside, into photo pits, behind the scenes of major events, and everywhere in between. I love the fast-paced side of photography, but more than anything, I love creating images that make you feel something.

My style is focused on movement, atmosphere, and authenticity. Whether I’m photographing a car, standing trackside, capturing an artist on stage, or working one-on-one with someone for portraits, I want every image to feel intentional while still being true to the moment.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me around cars, at a concert, or behind the wheel of my GR86—probably still thinking about my next shoot.
